New Members flock to join the Labour Party

We learn that 15,000 joined Labour online, extra 3,000 joined off line. That's 18,000 new members in last 14 days - Remarkable.

Thus sends us a message from the people that we hold the respect of an increasing number of the electorate. Let us build on this support .

Rose Burley for Bentley Darlaston Labour

Rose firmly believes in getting involved in and with the community she represents. She has experience as an elected representative having previously served on Walsall Council for 11 years, was on, and Chaired major committees and regularly spoke at Council meetings.
Rose is an active member of the Darlaston Events Committee, Sure Start Darlaston Advisory Board, Chair of Governors at Elmwood Special School, Trustee and Vice-Chair of the Walsall Domestic Violence Forum and on the Board of Caldmore Housing.
Having worked full-time as personal assistant to Bruce George MP (who is now retiring), Rose was in attendance at all the surgeries held by Bruce and made many home visits so is well aware of the issues causing concern.
Rose’s motto is “I will always do my very best on behalf of the people I represent.”
BENTLEY/DARLASTON
NORTH WARD
When speaking to residents of Bentley and Darlaston the message you get loud and clear is “we are the forgotten area of Walsall Council”. A Council that has been Conservative controlled for many, many years who continues to waste our money through their incompetence.
However, huge changes are taking place in our area thanks to the money provided by a Labour Government and the campaigning of your local labour team.
Much needed affordable homes being built to continue the regeneration of Bentley
The Canal Bridge at Bentley Road South will be opening again this summer after major improvements, including widening and strengthening
Bentley Shopping Precinct greatly improved resulting in safer footpaths, easier access to the shops, better car parking and improved drainage system
Repairs needed at the Darlaston Baths will be assessed and carried out
Money needed to improve facilities at the Scout building in Victoria Road, Darlaston has finally been put into the capital budget.
Your vote can make a difference. The type of Council you elect can make a vast difference to your local neighbourhood. The quality of our streets, parks, schools and public spaces can be greatly altered by your electoral choice. Do you really want more of Walsall’s Conservative antics? They pretend that all is well and take the credit for any successes. BUT when anything goes wrong they quickly blame someone else for their inadequacies and incompetence.
